About the Role

An orthopedic surgeon is needed for night and 24-hour call shifts at a 300-bed facility providing orthopedic surgical services in operating room and emergency department settings. The role involves on-site work during assigned shifts with required call coverage, ensuring quality surgical care for emergent cases only in a low-volume orthopedic emergencies environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent orthopedic surgical case coverage
• Support low-volume orthopedic emergencies in operating room and emergency department settings
• Work on-site during assigned night and 24-hour call shifts

Requirements

• Board certification in orthopedic surgery
• Preparedness for emergent cases involving patients of all ages
• Ability to work in a low-volume setting

Schedule

5-10 shifts per month.
