Orthopedic Floater - Full-Time PA

About the role

Piedmont Orthopedics is a well-respected practice comprised of board-certified orthopedic surgeons and a dynamic team of APPs. This position supports expansion efforts across the northeast Charlotte metro areas, including Huntersville, Concord, and Kannapolis.

Key Responsibilities

• Function as an independent APP provider with your own clinic schedule
• Serve as First Assist in the Operating Room
• Participate in an office call rotation
• Perform inpatient rounding as needed
• Collaborate with physicians across multiple specialties including: Shoulder, Hand, Hip, Knee
• Support an established orthopedic group as a float
• Partner with outreach Athletic Trainers for community and sports coverage
• Additional opportunities include Orthopedic Urgent Care shifts, Sideline coverage for high school and community athletic programs, and Sports Medicine and special event coverage

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Valid North Carolina licensure (or eligible)
• DEA license (or eligible)
• Required prior APP orthopedic experience
• NCCPA certification
