Orion Reuse Manufacturing Engineer (Fri-Mon)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CreoParametric, CreoView, EdgeCAM, Delmia or related
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports
- Ability to write reports and keep accurate documentation or related tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Office software suite, Excel in particular
- Must be a US Citizen

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Mechanical and/or Electrical Systems Integration & Test Engineer - in Kennedy Space Center, Florida to plan and author procedures for the disassembly of the Orion Spacecraft post-flight. This individual will also provide floor support during mechanical, electrical, and thermal protection system disassembly environments.
Desired Skills
- Good verbal and written communication including technical writing
- Experience with Apriso, VE-CAMS, EPDM, and SAP software
- Demonstrated knowledge of non-conformance handling and disposition
- Comfortable coordinating with technician personnel in a shop floor environment
- Ability to work off schedule assignments as required
- Familiarization with flight hardware tools and ground support equipment (GSE)
- Ability to multi-task, be thorough and detail oriented, with job closure and problem-solving skills
