About the role
Commitment to being an Orientation Leader is vital to creating a strong and successful experience for the AMDA incoming students.
Responsibilities
- Tracking students' attendance on Zoom and in-person
- Tracking progress on Canvas to make sure all assignments are completed
- Encouraging students to attend all seminars and activities
- Being a liaison between the Orientation Team and the students
- Helping guide students through their online and in-person Orientation
- Weekly meetings with incoming students and the Orientation Team
- Attending Orientation seminars and sessions to support the incoming students
- Assisting Orientation Coordinator in setting up and breaking down rooms
- Assisting in bag and folder preparation for Orientation check-in
Qualifications
- Must be in good standing with the school as an Alum
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must be able to be on your feet for 8–10 hour
- Knowledge of working with a tablet
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must wear black pants for all orientation
Pay
The pay for this position is $17 hourly.
Schedule
The required date for this role is from October 15th - 23rd. Orientation Attendants will work approximately 15 to 30 hours a week.
