Order Management Specialist

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage the manufacturing order desk and serve as a primary point of contact for customer order-related inquiries
• Prepare, process, and support customer quotations in coordination with sales, engineering, production, and planning teams
• Enter, review, and maintain sales orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy of customer information, pricing, part numbers, quantities, delivery dates, and order requirements
• Provide timely order status updates to customers, sales, and internal stakeholders
• Cross-functionally coordinate to support customer delivery requirements and resolve schedule or order-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, sales orders, customer communications, and order changes
• Aid in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance order accuracy, response time, and customer satisfaction
• Escalate order issues as needed and assist in driving timely resolution with the appropriate internal teams

Skills And Education

• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate order and customer records
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to coordinate effectively across sales, production, planning, and customer-facing teams
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to timely communication and reliable execution
