Order Allocation Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of order processing, including release, picking, packing, and shipment execution
- Allocation of orders across multiple locations and maintenance of data accuracy within order systems
- Processing of EDI and non-EDI orders, ensuring compliance with vendor and routing guides
- Handling of large order volumes, prioritization of tasks, and expedited shipment execution
- Communication with 3PL partners for smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Tracking of shipments and proactive resolution of delays, coordination with sales team
- Coordination of domestic pickups with 3PL providers
- Maintenance of weekly shipping schedules, reports, and status updates
- Regular meetings with 3PL partners for performance reviews and issue resolution
- Building and maintaining relationships with buyers for satisfaction through accurate and timely order handling
- Ensuring all orders meet brand standards in accuracy, presentation, and customer expectations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory management (preferably in apparel)
- Strong knowledge of EDI order processing, order allocation, warehouse operations, and 3PL coordination
- Experience with Shopify and drop shipping operations
- Proficiency in Excel for reporting and inventory tracking
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during peak seasons
- Strong attention to detail with an appreciation for brand integrity and presentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
