Order Allocation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of order processing, including release, picking, packing, and shipment execution
• Allocation of orders across multiple locations and maintenance of data accuracy within order systems
• Processing of EDI and non-EDI orders, ensuring compliance with vendor and routing guides
• Handling of large order volumes, prioritization of tasks, and expedited shipment execution
• Communication with 3PL partners for smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Tracking of shipments and proactive resolution of delays, coordination with sales team
• Coordination of domestic pickups with 3PL providers
• Maintenance of weekly shipping schedules, reports, and status updates
• Regular meetings with 3PL partners for performance reviews and issue resolution
• Building and maintaining relationships with buyers for satisfaction through accurate and timely order handling
• Ensuring all orders meet brand standards in accuracy, presentation, and customer expectations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory management (preferably in apparel)
• Strong knowledge of EDI order processing, order allocation, warehouse operations, and 3PL coordination
• Experience with Shopify and drop shipping operations
• Proficiency in Excel for reporting and inventory tracking
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during peak seasons
• Strong attention to detail with an appreciation for brand integrity and presentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
