OR Resource Coordinator - RN

About the Role

An experienced Registered Nurse (RN) is sought to coordinate resources within the Operating Room department, working in a diverse surgical environment that includes general, urology, plastics, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Coordinate patient care across departments and organize workflow, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Provide staff support, including relief for breaks and assisting with department operations.
• Orient new team members alongside the leader.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year OR RN experience; proven leadership skills preferred.
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution (BSN, Associate's, or Diploma).
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure; responsible for maintaining licensure.
• Required certifications: BLS and unit-specific certifications like ACLS; CNOR preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements during shifts.
