About the role
Comprehensive cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery with advanced procedures including DMEK, DSEK, DALK, PK, premium IOL cataract surgery, LASIK, and PRK. Opportunity to build and grow a refractive surgery program within a state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical environment. Strong referral base with consistent surgical volume and a blend of outpatient and surgical care.
Academic & Teaching
- Faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level, non-tenure track
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students
- Participate in research and academic scholarship with support for publications and conferences
Practice Environment
- Multispecialty ophthalmology team including retina, glaucoma, and neuro-ophthalmology
- Collaborative tertiary referral center with a mix of clinic, OR, and ambulatory surgery center settings
- Large integrated health system with multiple community sites
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Cornea & Refractive Surgery
Compensation
- Salary: $315,000
- Sign-on bonus available
- Start date: As soon as possible
