About the Role
Seeking a board-certified General Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care in a physician-led organization. The role involves performing diagnostics, injections, cataract surgeries, and managing a diverse case mix with subspecialty support in retina, glaucoma, and oculoplastics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-clinic diagnostic testing and treat patients with a low call schedule (1:6).
- Perform surgical procedures, including cataracts and injections.
- Manage a patient volume of 15–16 patients per half-day clinic and 7 OR cases per half-day.
- Offer clinical flexibility, pursue subspecialty interests, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.
- Participate in community engagement within a vibrant California city.
Requirements
- Board certification in Ophthalmology.
- Strong surgical skills and experience with diagnostic testing.
- Ability to manage a broad case mix and work well in a team.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
