Ophthalmologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

Seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist (MD) for inpatient and outpatient care in a facility supporting trauma-related eye services and 24-hour call coverage. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive ophthalmology services, including evaluation and surgical treatment of trauma cases such as globe ruptures, eyelid lacerations, and corneal foreign bodies.Workload: Manage approximately 5-8 patients daily, with an average of 5-6 patients per clinician.Shift Details: Work 24-hour shifts, remaining within 20 minutes of the facility.Qualifications: Board certification required.Skills: Experience with inpatient and outpatient ophthalmology, trauma care, and EPIC EMR preferred.Additional Info: No ICU or critical care duties; call required; patient population spans all ages; on-site work location.
