Responsibilities
- Act as the voice of the operator, ensuring store needs are at the center of corporate initiatives, operational processes, and technology enhancements.
- Engage with operators and field teams to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Help translate field insights into business requirements to inform the development of new technology solutions and process improvements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Communications, Training, Finance, Marketing, and other teams to support operator-focused initiatives.
- Help ensure initiatives are practical and aligned to real-world store execution.
- Support multiple initiatives that impact operators, ensuring they are executed on time and with measurable outcomes.
- Apply foundational project management skills to help develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestone tracking, and status reporting across initiatives.
- Track dependencies, risks, action items, and deliverables to help ensure initiatives remain on track.
- Aid in process mapping and workflow reviews to help identify opportunities for operational improvement and simplification.
- Support coordination and execution of meetings, trainings, and operator events.
- Develop agendas, presentations, timelines, meeting materials, and supporting documentation.
- Capture detailed meeting notes, decisions, action items, and follow-up tasks to ensure visibility and execution.
- Aid in large-scale organizational meetings and events through planning, coordination, logistics, and communication management.
- Maintain organizational alignment through proactive follow-up, stakeholder coordination, and communication tracking.
- Support Draft clear, concise, and professional communications for operators, field leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Create presentations, executive summaries, rollout communications, meeting recaps, and initiative updates.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technology enhancements and operational projects that improve store efficiency and operator experience.
- Aid in developing and executing communication plans to ensure operators and field teams understand upcoming changes.
- Continuously monitor and gather feedback post-implementation to refine and enhance solutions over time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Retail Management, Information Systems, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in retail operations, field leadership, business process improvement, or a similar role focused on operator initiatives.
- Understanding of retail store operations.
- Strong ability to identify problems and generate solutions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools to drive process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration/project management tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including management, IT, and end-users.
- Must be comfortable using collaboration tools.
- Commitment to a culture of continuous improvement and the ability to monitor and adapt processes over time.
