About the role
We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery–Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery.
Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure consistent product quality and food safety compliance
- Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and records
- Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Identify and communicate production, equipment, or safety issues in a timely manner
- Follow GMPs and established production processes to maintain operational excellence
- Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and daily production activities
- Contribute to team success by supporting overall production goals and additional assigned tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Basic equipment knowledge with troubleshooting ability
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to read, write, and perform basic math
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Able to work effectively within a team environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Experience in food manufacturing environments
- Experience working with automated production equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with production schedules, changeovers, and run orders
