About The Role
We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery-Relief to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. In this role, you will support safe, legal, and high-quality food production by operating and monitoring high-speed donut and bread production lines while maintaining GMP, food safety, and operational standards.
Schedule
Shift: 3rd
Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Weekend Availability: Required
Pay
Hourly Rate: $23.50
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor high-speed continuous donut and bread production lines to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
- Set up production line equipment and ensure smooth, continuous operations throughout the shift.
- Maintain adequate raw material supply at the line to prevent downtime.
- Communicate effectively with line staff and leadership to address process, quality, or safety issues.
- Uphold GMP, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
- Support material movement and finished goods handling using pallet jacks as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and actively participating in AOE pillar activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-speed food manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
- Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate production equipment and pallet jacks.
- Willingness to work 3rd shift and adhere to attendance and punctuality expectations.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in bakery or food manufacturing operations.
- Experience working on continuous or high-speed production lines.
- Familiarity with quality management and continuous improvement practices.
- Demonstrated leadership or informal team support experience.
