About the role
We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery– Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery– Production, you will be accountable for operating production equipment, ensuring consistent product quality, and supporting safe, efficient manufacturing processes aligned with Aspire Bakeries’ standards.
Shift & Schedule
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Weekend Availability: Required
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure consistent product quality and food safety
- Maintain accurate production documentation and records to support operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas in compliance with safety standards
- Identify and communicate production, equipment, or safety issues in a timely manner
- Follow GMPs and standardized processes to maintain operational excellence
- Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and daily production activities
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and support overall operations
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring To The Table)
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Basic equipment knowledge with troubleshooting ability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients For Success)
- High School Diploma
- Experience in food manufacturing environments
- Experience working with automated production equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with production schedules, changeovers, and run orders
