SALARY: $105-118K

About the Role

SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst (Intermediate) to support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Schriever SFB, Division Chief Site Lead.
  • Engage in Warfighter and End-User Engagement, as well as GMD subject matter expertise in support of missile defense system GMD programmatic, technical, integration, fielding, and operational efforts.
  • Facilitate internal and external MDA missile defense system communications to include Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and assess employment of current and future missile defense capabilities.
  • Engage in missile defense system operational planning related to the Warfighter Engagement and End-User input into Warfighter Involvement Program (WIP).
  • Establish and maintain working relationships within operational industry communities to keep abreast of Warfighter and End-User issues, internal and external inquiries and review and prepare executive-level briefings, operational planning reports, and white papers.
  • Participate in GM Program Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), GM Program Fielding Reviews, and GMF Readiness Team Execution Reviews (TERs).
  • Provide Warfighter Engagement and End-User Integration support for GM in Colorado Springs to include support for GM planning and execution for Wargames and Exercises, Warfighter Engagement and End-User Training (both Institutional and Sustainment Training), and planning and execution of the GM/NORTHCOM/SMDC Review Board (GNSRB) meetings held approximately six times per year in Colorado Springs (includes coordination and preparation of the GNSRB Agenda, coordination and facilitation of the GNSRB meetings, and coordination of meeting minutes and Action Items).

Qualifications

  • Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems.
  • Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office.
  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Skills

  • Management and program analysis field relating to: military operational concepts/capabilities; integration and fielding of complex weapon systems; conducting strategic high-level coordination activities; deliberate planning; test support; logistics and sustainment; requirements and operational document development; problem solving and working independently.

Compensation

Salary: $105-118K

Supervision

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 4+ years’ experience must be in the missile defense industry
  • 5 + years’ operational experience in ground-based weapon systems analysis
  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
