Warfighting Functional Analyst
About the role
As a Warfighting Function (WfF) Analyst, you'll support an Operations Group on projects for the training program. Your responsibilities include planning, preparing, executing, and assessing the program. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to the military client, analyzing and evaluating complex Operations Orders, SOPs, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to Warfighting Exercises, Risk Reduction Events, and steady state operations. You'll write Operations Orders as required, produce AARs using all current and future analytical tools, serve as the program point of contact, and produce digital SCPs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of the training program
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex Operations Orders, SOPs, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to Warfighting Exercises, Risk Reduction Events, and steady state operations
- Write Operations Orders as required
- Use all current and future analytical tools available to produce AARs
- Serve as the program point of contact and leverage expertise producing digital SCPs
- Oversee the work done for Operations Groups supporting training programs and the solutions delivered for the Army's Warfighter program
Requirements
- Experience with the US Military as senior NCO, WO, or Officer
- Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level, such as Executive Officer, S-3, or Operations Sergeant Major
- Experience with Army and Joint regulation and publications
- Experience using Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software
- Clearance: Secret clearance is required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Graduate of Military Education Level (MEL) 4, CGSC, Warrant Officer Training, or SGM’s equivalent
Skills
- Nice if you have: Experience as Colonel O-5 or above, experience serving on division or corps level staff positions, possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Master's degree, Graduate of MEL 1 War College or equivalent, Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
