Operations Supervisor, Warehouse
About the Role
Riverstone Logistics (RLX) is committed to being an honest, reliable, dependable freight forwarding partner. The Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day functions of Inbound Operations—unloading all customer products into our Hub and moving them into inventory locations prior to outbound activity. This position will also assist in monitoring and troubleshooting delivery issues proactively and responsively. Most time will be spent in the office or warehouse, helping maximize site performance by providing feedback and coaching to the team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, including monitoring morning loadout/check-in, delivery activity, motor carrier needs, and customer service in accordance with client quality and production standards.
- Ensure timely reporting of loadout/returns compliance and motor carrier compliance within client standards.
- Maintain professional working relationships with location management, peers, motor carriers, client employees, and other department managers.
- Supervise and review route monitoring using client-specific software.
- Process and monitor returns through the client portal at participating locations.
- Move inventory safely using material handling equipment (as needed).
- Serve as a main point of contact for escalations from the client.
- Schedule orders and notify customers of their time windows for next-day delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned (may vary based on client requirements).
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Strong people and operations supervisory skills.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to embrace new technology.
- 2-3 years of Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred.
