Operations Supervisor - Roll Off and Grapple

Responsibilities
Manage daily recycling center operations, supervising staff, ensuring safety and operational standards.
Coordinate daily tasks, maintaining equipment, driving safety culture through employee engagement and training.
Improve customer service by handling customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Report on key performance indicators to management, manage and train staff, and oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles.
Optimize route planning and resource allocation by coordinating with other departments.
Maintain detailed records of operations, including service logs, maintenance schedules, and compliance reports.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
Bilingual - Spanish preferred.
Experience with heavy equipment operations (loaders, excavators, grapple) is a strong plus.
Proven experience as an operations supervisor, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry.
Strong knowledge of waste management practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in using operational management software and other relevant computer applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
