KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise operation aides and has hiring and firing responsibility for staff that under their supervision.
- Cookordination and verification of client movement with operations aides and counseling staff.
- Ensure clients participate in chores.
- Work with operation aides to provide client work assignments.
- Work with staff to coordinate client activities of daily living needs.
- Documents status of facility in communication log book.
- Monitor client conduct and overall behavior during tour of duty.
- Cookordinate with admissions and residential director client room changes, group room assignments and lounge activities.
- Assist with conducting searches for contraband according to established organizational policy.
- Coordinate with facilities manager to report any room needs through a work order.
- Assist with new client orientation to the facility.
- Cookordinate client work activities including assigning chores and working with floor captains.
- Cookordinate client events.
- Assist with rounds on an hourly basis to assess clients conduct plus ensure the ongoing safety and cleanliness of the facility.
- Participate in weekly House meetings with clients to discuss/address any housing needs.
- Participate in various meetings (daily huddle, case conferences, multidisciplinary team meeting).
- Ensure office supply inventory, distribution and equipment maintenance.
- Develop coverage schedule and ensure coverage is obtained for all shifts.
- Work alongside facilities team to address any concerns with client rooms and common spaces.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in Substance use/Mental Health field with women.
- Valid unrestricted OASAS certification as a CASAC-T/CASAC-Counselor is a plus.
- Must obtain Mandated reporter (2 hours) prior to hire date.
- Excellent organizational, reporting, recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to organize and maintain detailed records; complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines.
- Ability to make decisions based on education preparation and experience, which reflect consistency with Agency philosophy, policies and procedures, standards of care and review body requirements.
- Must be available to work overnight as needed or when the staff work schedule changes to meet facility needs.
- Bilingual – Spanish speaking a plus.
