About the Role
We are seeking a self-driven Operations Supervisor to provide high-level leadership ensuring customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction. This role focuses on fostering a culture of continuous improvement to achieve plant goals in assigned areas, while supporting the manufacturing of dairy and non-dairy related beverages.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to achieve plant and corporate goals in Production, Safety, Quality, Employee Relations, Performance, and Cost for the assigned shift.
- Ensure successful attainment of production objectives, execution of policies, and effective utilization of resources.
- Support employees through coaching, mentoring, and assisting in resolving mechanical malfunctions to boost productivity and equipment capabilities.
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement, balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale.
- Enforce GMPs and ensure strict adherence to Corporate and Plant Policies, administering coaching and corrective action as needed.
- Validate proper training and development of employees, ensuring compliance with all SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements for dairy processing, safety, and working conditions.
- Report food safety problems, support SQF standards, and maintain sanitary work areas with proper biosecurity measures.
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment, including resolving workplace concerns and maintaining an open-door policy.
- Facilitate effective communication between shifts and other departments.
- Conduct interviews, hiring, employee coaching, corrective action, and development plans for assigned areas.
- Manage employee scheduling to meet budgeted and forecasted labor objectives.
- Ensure safety compliance, conduct accident investigations, and issue retraining in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights, and measures) to handle job tasks.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to perform job functions (additional language skills preferred if there is a business need).
- Knowledge of the company’s mission, purpose, goals, and your role in achieving them.
- Ability to operate facility equipment as required in the assigned area.
- Satisfactory completion of all company training requirements.
- Ability to interpret company documents, literature, and UPC/code information.
Performance Standards
- Report to work at scheduled times and communicate any tardiness or absences in advance.
- Arrive in a condition fit to work and maintain a well-groomed, business-appropriate appearance, including compliance with GMP dress code standards.
- Comply with performance criteria and standards of conduct as outlined in company policies and the employee handbook.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report safety concerns immediately.
- Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Normally protected from weather, but possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions.
- May be exposed to ingredients used in food manufacturing, including allergens.
- May be exposed to chemicals involved in the manufacture and sanitation of a food processing facility.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout all facility areas, including office, production, warehouse, and the building perimeter.
- Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stand and/or sit continuously for a full shift with meal breaks.
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance (objects over 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations).
- Visual acuity (corrected) to perform job functions.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $77,400 - $90,800 USD, varying based on skills, experience, and location.

4 PM - 4 AM
