About the role

Red Stag Fulfillment is a logistics and fulfillment organization built to enable companies to grow and scale their businesses. The Operations Supervisor oversees a group of team members responsible for meeting SLA objectives and driving productivity. This role focuses on guiding and developing team members to advance their personal skills, abilities, and professional goals while fostering a culture of development, inclusion, and adherence to Red Stag’s core values.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of development and inclusion that supports and embodies Red Stag Fulfillment’s core values.
  • Select, train, and develop team members to reach their full potential and achieve their professional goals.
  • Lead daily operations within your production area, providing tools and removing obstacles for your team.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Utilize data and reporting (Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets) to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Promote open and candid communication by being accessible and visible on the warehouse floor.
  • Ensure productivity requirements are met while embodying a client-centric culture.
  • Listen to team member feedback and use it to diagnose process gaps.
  • Model Red Stag’s core value of “acting like we own it” in all aspects of the role.
  • Problem-solve using root cause analysis and collaborate with corporate resources.
  • Follow Red Stag’s operating policies and procedures to maintain consistency across sites.
  • Be a team player, assisting in other areas of the organization as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months tenure at Red Stag or 12 months of leadership experience.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Proven track record in team development with demonstrable examples.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various operational components.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to access and navigate all departments within the organization’s facilities.
  • Work on the warehouse floor, including continuous movement, regular transportation of freight up to 50 pounds (with team lifting for heavier items), reaching, bending, and carrying.
  • Safely and effectively operate power equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and turret trucks.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where temperatures may vary seasonally.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

FLSA Exemption Status: Exempt (Salary).
