Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Development of Cottages Concierge team
  • Being an extension of reservation services
  • Standardizing and implementing the pre-arrival concierge, in-house guest and future bookings of the guest experience
  • The delivery of an exceptional guest and Owners product
  • The delivery of a memorable guest/Owner experience that exemplifies luxury and is consistent with the standards and values of Sea Island

Tasks

  • Working in conjunction with Operations Manager of Cottage Rentals on implementation of new procedures
  • To include the pre-arrival and inhouse guest experience, guest retention, maximizing revenue opportunities and responsibility for training Sea Island staff
  • Working with all department managers to ensure Cottage Rentals standards are integrated with Sea Island’s procedures in accordance with service agreements
  • Maintains accurate inventory of all Operating Supplies & Equipment within the destination

Liaison

  • Serving as the liaison between Front Office and other departments, to include housekeeping, engineering and Owner Services and Owner Relations
  • Perform duties assigned to the position of Front Desk Clerk/Cashier, including all Cloister and Cottage Rentals guest registration from pre-arrival to departure and record keeping duties
  • Block rooms for housekeeping engineering on a regular basis due to room maintenance
  • Handle guest and Owner escalations accordingly within the guidelines of Sea Island standards
  • Act to solve guest problems, coordinating necessary efforts through the appropriate departments and to consistently follow-up with guests and Owners to ensure proper actions and responses have been received

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent credentials
  • Minimum of three (3) years related leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be willing to work varied hours including, weekends, holidays and split workdays according to needs of the operation. Sundays in peak season are mandatory, unless otherwise defined by General Manager
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Valid GA driver’s license and favorable driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, stretch, bend, push, pull, and walk
