Operations Supervisor ( 2nd Shift)
Description
Perrigo is dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of its colleagues and consumers. As an operations Supervisor, you will prioritize your team's success and foster a safe, inclusive environment. Your responsibilities include supervising 20-40 employees, managing production lines, training, quality control, and resolving issues. You will also support the PWS process, including RedZone tracking, and manage payroll and disciplinary actions.
Scope of the Role
- Supervise 20-40 Manufacturing and Packaging employees
- Assign tasks and adjust workloads to meet production goals
- Schedule and monitor training
- Maintain production quality and troubleshoot problems
- Support the PWS process (RedZone tracking)
- Edit and approve payroll
- Manage disciplinary actions
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or 4 years of leadership experience
- Strong leadership skills, including effective communication, performance management, and problem-solving
- Experience providing work direction across multiple production areas
- Previous experience in an FDA-regulated industry
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
