About the role

This position supports bioanalytical projects by conducting sample preparations, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely project completion. You will collaborate with project managers, lead scientists, and supervisors while managing laboratory operations and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct bioanalytical sample preparations
  • Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records
  • Communicate with project managers, lead scientists, and supervisor on projects daily/weekly
  • Order consumables for projects as needed
  • Plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments
  • Provide detailed sample analysis and inventory updates to project managers and lead scientists to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines
  • Set up, operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment
  • Attend and participate in project meetings
  • Support process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment
  • Participate in client visits as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 2 years or more of laboratory experience
  • Experience using laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges)
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation (for gas, liquids or solids)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry, biology (preferred)
  • 2 years or more experience working in a laboratory setting (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges)
  • GLP Documentation experience (preferred)
  • Computer Experience (e.g., Word, Excel) or LIMS (preferred)
  • Experience working multiple projects in various stages at the same time
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and detailed communication
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience working in a variety of study types, analysis procedures and methodology projects

Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
