About the role
The Operations Manager reports directly to the designated Integrated Center of Clinical Excellence (ICCE) Operations Director for Anesthesia. Under limited supervision, this position provides operational leadership, project management, and data-driven analyses to support the achievement of clinical, operational, and financial goals within the ICCE.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, reliable, standardized, and actionable analyses, including contribution margin and operational performance metrics, to inform strategic decision-making and organizational priorities.
- Serve as a key operational partner, collaborating closely with the ICCE System Administrative Officer, ICCE Chief, ICCE Operations Director, and the Director of MUHA Anesthesia Providers & Support Personnel to develop, implement, and sustain initiatives that advance operational excellence, quality outcomes, provider engagement, and organizational growth across the MUSC Health System.
- Function as a strategic resource to ICCE leadership by supporting the development, execution, and operationalization of strategic business plans.
- Interpret market, financial, and operational data; identify opportunities for process improvement and performance enhancement; and translate strategic objectives into actionable operational and project plans.
- Lead and manage complex operational initiatives and special projects assigned by ICCE leadership, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with system goals and performance expectations.
- Drive effective stakeholder engagement, change management, and continuous process improvement to contribute to the overall success and growth of the Anesthesia ICCE.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in health administration or business administration.
- 3-5 years progressive work experience.
