About the role
The Operations Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in optimizing operational activities and ensuring work is planned, scheduled, and executed safely and efficiently. This role involves coordinating and dispatching daily field operations activities, scheduling operational work, resolving customer and operational issues, supporting meter set processes, generating reports, and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch daily field operations activities, prioritizing work assignments and responding to emergency service requests.
- Schedule and align operational work with customer line-location requests, excavation projects, meter work, and construction activities.
- Resolve customer and operational issues by addressing service order discrepancies, address and mapping errors, and Customer Care requests.
- Support commercial and residential meter set processes, service line modifications, and main extension projects through accurate documentation and coordination.
- Maintain operational records by issuing and completing service orders, processing city clearances, and managing emergency and safety-related documentation.
- Generate reports and provide administrative support for field operations, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and minimal experience. Key skills include strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, perform effectively in fast-paced environments, and make sound decisions under pressure.
