About the role
The Operations Coordinator supports daily manufacturing operations at Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery, serving as a key liaison between departments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate operational records and production data using ERP systems and other software tools.
- Generate production reports and key performance indicator (KPI) reports for management review.
- Create purchase orders and follow up with vendors regarding deliveries and project timelines.
- Maintain and report on departmental General Ledger reports.
- Cookbook multiple projects across Operations, Production, Warehouse, and other departments.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external vendors.
- Track project status and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Aid in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations and administrative functions as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of operations, production, or manufacturing coordination experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing processes preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
