Operations Processor
About the role
The Operations Processor (Orders) is responsible for the accurate and timely creation, processing, and maintenance of customer contracts, purchase orders (POs), and sales orders (SOs). This role supports daily business operations by ensuring orders are processed efficiently, documentation is maintained accurately, and communication with internal teams and customers is professional and responsive.
Responsibilities
- Create, review, and issue customer contracts in accordance with established procedures.
- Accurately create and process purchase orders (POs) and sales orders (SOs) in the appropriate systems.
- Review orders and contracts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before processing.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all contracts, purchase orders, and sales orders.
- Process order revisions, updates, cancellations, and corrections as needed throughout the order lifecycle.
- Ensure all assigned daily tasks are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments via email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, logistics, accounting, and other departments to resolve order-related issues.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and implement appropriate solutions while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate documentation and system records for all orders and related activities.
- Prioritize multiple assignments while consistently meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
- Perform additional operational or administrative duties as assigned to support business operations.
- Process invoices and support accounts payable activities as needed.
- Enter and update data in Excel spreadsheets and other data entry tools to support reporting and recordkeeping.
Requirements
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred, with a minimum of 1 year.
- Proficiency in data entry with strong accuracy and speed, including 10-key typing.
- Working knowledge of Excel, including data entry and basic spreadsheet use.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook for email communication.
- Ability to process invoices and support accounts payable activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and customers.
- Capability to identify discrepancies and resolve order-related issues while maintaining customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, receiving, or logistics is preferred and beneficial for understanding order flows.
- Comfort working with digital and physical documentation and maintaining organized records.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, logistics, and accounting.
- Willingness to perform additional operational or administrative tasks to support the team.
- Interest in participating in working interviews to directly showcase skills and experience.
- Openness to completing assessments that support understanding of work style and job fit.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is part of a small team of approximately 5–10 people, offering a collaborative environment where team members work closely across departments such as sales, operations, logistics, and accounting.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
