About the role

The Operations Processor 4 within Cash Applications is responsible for accurately processing high-volume financial transactions across multiple payment types. This role focuses on consistent execution, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures and controls, ensuring timely and accurate payment application. The Processor 4 serves as a key contributor to operational stability, providing reliable transaction processing and supporting daily workflow needs across the Cash Applications function.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily cash application transactions.
  • Check checks received via mail.
  • Lockbox online payments.
  • Electronic payments – monitor email box and prepare application instructions for ACH credits & wires.
  • Resolve exception batches.
  • Escalate complex or unclear items appropriately.
  • Complete ACH Authorization set up in InfoLease system.
  • Complete morning and end of day balancing activities.
  • Conduct research on discrepancies and make appropriate corrections or adjustments.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all work, meeting quality standards and service level expectations.
  • Support testing or implementation of process or system changes as needed.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts, reporting enhancements, or workflow updates.
  • Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or process gaps and escalate findings.
  • Support cross-training efforts to maintain operational coverage and flexibility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to four years or more of operations services related work experience.

Skills

  • Knowledge of products, services, terminology, procedures and systems related to assigned area, as well as applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven commitment to high quality customer service.
  • Ability to work well with external and internal customers.
  • Good time management skills to maximize production and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of internal policies and procedures within Operations Services and enterprise wide.
