Senior Operations Processor
About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Processor for the Returns Production team within the Check Deposit Processing department as part of Consumer Banking and Lending Operations. In This Role, You Will Support Operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and overall effectiveness of team performance.
Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues.
Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support.
Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area.
Aid staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures.
Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests.
Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Interact with internal customers.
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- System knowledge of Operations Image Browser, Common Recon, IRX, Hogan, RE15, or IBR
- Banking or financial operations experience
- Accounting experience
- Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to research and correspond with customers, responding to their questions and concerns with detailed information
- Ability to read and process checks
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
Job Expectations
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position is eligible for a weekly rotation of a WFH/On-site hybrid schedule
- Schedule will be either 5:30am - 2pm or 6:30am - 3pm or until work is complete
- Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
