Senior Operations Processor

About the role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Processor within the Commercial Banking Operations group as part of Wholesale Operations. The role supports operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and enhances overall team performance.

Responsibilities

• Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues.
• Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support.
• Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within the Operations functional area.
• Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures.
• Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Interact with internal customers.
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired qualifications

• Experience with automatic payment processing.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (accounts receivable or accounts payable).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel pivot tables.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Experience in a financial operations environment.
• Data entry proficiency.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to independently provide summaries and recommendations on operational data.

Schedule

This position offers a 3/2 hybrid work schedule and may require additional hours as needed. The role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
