Operations Lead
About the role
Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the operations at one of our key locations. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position oversees the warehouse and production teams, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse/production team
- Order and track inventory of production and equipment parts
- Aid in hiring seasonal staff and supervise all other warehouse staff
- Ensure proper training is provided
- Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment
- Ensure SH&E compliance at the location
- Maintain paperwork and ensure its completion in a timely manner
- Maintain maintenance records
- Operate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc.)
- Report any safety concerns to the branch manager immediately
- Assemble customer orders
- Plan and develop policy, procedures, and ensure team adherence
- Blend and load bulk liquid and dry fertilizer, and the loading and unloading of bulk liquid and dry products
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in agriculture or a combination of education and work experience
- Proficient use of computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Forklift experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
