About the role
An Operations Team Lead is responsible for managing teams, fostering cooperation and unity, and evaluating all aspects of operations. They also mentor team members, identify lapses, and conduct training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain constant communication with operations and warehouse to ensure proper organization and customer service.
- Aid in implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols.
- Enhance and sustain organizational processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Collect and update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, eliminate errors, and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional support teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
- Work with legal and safety departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Excellent delegation and organizational skills.
- Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation.
- Proficient in general business software and able to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in an operations management position.
Skills
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
