Operations Lead
About the role
Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the operations at one of our key locations. The ideal candidate will manage a team, oversee inventory, and ensure facility compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse/production team for the location
- Order and track inventory of production and equipment parts
- Aid in hiring seasonal staff and supervise all other warehouse staff
- Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment
- Ensure SH&E compliance at the location
- Maintain paperwork and records
- Operate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc.)
- Report any safety concerns to the branch manager
- Assemble customer orders
- Plan and develop policies, procedures, and ensure team adherence
- Blend and load bulk liquid and dry fertilizer, and the loading and unloading of bulk liquid and dry products
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in agriculture or a combination of education and work experience
- Proficient use of computer programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook
- Forklift experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- High School diploma/GED
