Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex high-volume direct-to-consumer fulfillment processes, systems and facilities for capacity expansion and continuous improvement of worldwide fulfillment infrastructure throughout the large-scale supply chain network.
- Provide technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects using MS Excel, AutoCad and MS Project.
- Work with complex Material Handling Systems, packaging equipment and other processing gear to design safe and efficient fulfillment processes.
- Use Process Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and/or Kaizen to analyze Fulfillment Center processes and equipment and recommend and implement improvements to safety procedures, work processes and labor standards.
- Lead and coordinate design efforts between internal teams and outside vendors to develop optimal solutions for the network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, and site layout.
- Manage capital projects and create conceptual drawings, equipment specifications and bid documentation to facilitate a competitive bid environment.
- Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors. Inspect facilities in accordance with corporate standards and procedures relating to material handling, processing and storage.
- Develop and manage budget and contract documents including Requests for Proposals, change order controls, purchase orders and invoicing.
- Cook with local site management to ensure proper operator training, procedural compliance, maintenance and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment.
- Domestic travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Master's degree and two years of experience.
- Two years of experience in each of the following skills: (1) managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects; (2) implementing automated equipment or integrated systems; and (3) using CAD software.

Benefits
Base pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $127982 - $161700 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
