About the role
The Operations Engineer II is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the network capacity of multiple last-mile delivery stations. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus and develop capacity strategies. The role involves providing technical leadership, formulating advanced mathematical models, gathering and analyzing data, and driving informed decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize the network capacity of multiple last-mile delivery stations by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for large-scale engineering projects.
- Formulate and apply advanced mathematical modeling techniques to shape and drive innovative retail initiatives.
- Gather input and statistical data from various divisions to provide solutions for improving customer experience and market acquisition.
- Utilize statistical analysis to construct complex models for vendor relationships and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive informed decision-making processes.
- Drive progress across multiple parallel efforts, manage priorities, and foster effective relationships with other teams.
- Hold partner teams accountable for delivering project roadmaps and ensure adherence to defined milestones and delivery dates.
- Work closely with Robotics, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop impactful products.
- May require domestic or international travel up to 10% to perform role responsibilities.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, with one year of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, with three years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, network design, and Logistics operations.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills for large-scale supply chain and e-commerce network optimization.
- Knowledge of data analysis platforms like Red-shift, Python, or equivalent statistical software.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Proven ability to implement mathematical optimization and operations research methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-volume operational events and strategic planning initiatives.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and product departments.
- Proven ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups and execute complex project roadmaps.
- Experienced in technical writing and leadership presentations.
- Understanding of robotics systems integration within operational environments.

Benefits
Base pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $112466 - $114900 (yearly); however, the actual pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
