Responsibilities
- Lead NASC Process initiatives in developing and delivering next generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems.
- Utilize groundbreaking technologies to develop sortation and logistics systems.
- Design systems and processes that leverage groundbreaking automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies and robotics.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time for our sortation and distribution systems.
- Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
Requirements
- Domestic travel up to 25% may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications
- A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- In the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering or related field followed by five years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- One year of experience in each of the following: (1) As industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment. (2) Managing material handling or automation projects. (3) Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines. (4) Utilizing CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.). (5) Operations Management/Distribution Center experience. (6) Sigma, Lean manufacturing efforts, transportation/logistics and/or fulfillment/distribution centers.
