Operations Coordinator, Volleyball

This part-time, seasonal position supports the Head Coach in all phases of the daily operations and promotion of a Division I intercollegiate volleyball program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize the day-to-day operation of the Volleyball program.
• Assist the Head Coach with planning and organizing team travel.
• Interact positively with student-athletes, parents, alumni, colleagues, and the public.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, ECAC, Ivy, and University rules and regulations in all operations.
• Report any rules violations or knowledge of violations within the division to the compliance office.
• Maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (provided at no cost through the Division).
• Complete annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience in volleyball (collegiate playing, coaching, or operations); Division I experience preferred.
• Excellent computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate multiple tasks.
• Strong commitment to the welfare of student-athletes.
• Knowledge and understanding of NCAA, ECAC, Ivy, and University rules and regulations.
• Must pass criminal background and DMV checks prior to employment.

Schedule

• Part-time, seasonal position.
• Approximately 5 hours of work per week.
• Position work location: onsite.
