This position is located at Bowling, part of Fort Benning Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S., including Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Responsibilities
- Assists management with the operation of the facility in accordance with established procedures.
- Issues, receives, and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers.
- Ensures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities.
- Submits daily report of operations.
- Assists in setting up parties according to party plans.
- May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier’s bag.
- Completes Daily Activity Report.
- Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility.
- May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food Track or similar software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service (www.sss.gov).
- Work hours may involve weekends, weekdays, holidays, and night duty.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2.
- Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Qualifications
- Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody, or other processing of cash items.
- Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages, applicant must meet state/local age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment.
- Skill in providing customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
