Operations Assistant NF-02
This position is located at Shockwave in Fort Irwin, California. Shockwave offers a variety of dining options including mouthwatering pizzas, flavorful appetizers, hearty pastas, crisp salads, and more. The facility features a relaxing or fun atmosphere with arcade games, pool tables, air hockey, an outdoor patio, multiple TVs for sports and entertainment, and a full bar.
Responsibilities
- Performs “hands-on” supervision of the restaurant, including occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties.
- Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business during peak hours, setting the pace in both Front and Back of the House.
- Ensures adherence to established schedules, priorities, and the presence of personnel to carry out services.
- Provides information to customers regarding services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events.
- Ensures staff follows established recipes and procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for cash during shift, including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks.
- Conducts inventory at the beginning and/or end of shift.
- Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorizes clock in/out, and reports on employee performance.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Must pass a Tier 1 background investigation in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2.
- Must be 21 years of age.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or current employment as an MWR Texas Roadhouse team member.
- Must possess good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first. Preferred qualifications include:
- Skills in Microsoft Office systems.
