Responsibilities
- Performs “hands-on” supervision of the restaurant, including occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties.
- Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business during peak hours, setting the pace in Front and Back of the House.
- Ensures staff follows established recipes and procedures.
- Helps control guest flow and monitors ticket times.
- Ensures consistency in food and service through table visits to increase sales.
- Maintains order and harmony; seeks assistance from military police to control unacceptable behavior when necessary.
- Keeps an operational log while on duty; opens and closes the facility and performs fire and security checks.
- Assumes responsibility for cash during shift, including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks.
- Conducts inventory at the beginning and/or end of shift.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks, including a Tier 1 background investigation.
- A food handler’s certificate is required.
- Successful completion of either Front of the House or Back of the House Franchisor-specified training.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required; ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Able and willing to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
Qualifications
- Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member status.
- Must possess good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents.
