Responsibilities

  • Performs “hands-on” supervision of the restaurant, including occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties.
  • Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business during peak hours, setting the pace in Front and Back of the House.
  • Ensures staff follows established recipes and procedures.
  • Helps control guest flow and monitors ticket times.
  • Ensures consistency in food and service through table visits to increase sales.
  • Maintains order and harmony; seeks assistance from military police to control unacceptable behavior when necessary.
  • Keeps an operational log while on duty; opens and closes the facility and performs fire and security checks.
  • Assumes responsibility for cash during shift, including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks.
  • Conducts inventory at the beginning and/or end of shift.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks, including a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • A food handler’s certificate is required.
  • Successful completion of either Front of the House or Back of the House Franchisor-specified training.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required; ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Able and willing to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.

Qualifications

  • Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member status.
  • Must possess good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents.
