Job Summary
The Operations Assistant I position involves applying management principles to enhance operational activities. The role requires a combination of education and experience, with a preference for six months of supporting operations or administrative functions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Experience: Six months of experience supporting operations or administrative functions is preferred.
- Equivalency: Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic knowledge of English usage.
- Basic knowledge of reference and research methods and techniques.
- Basic analytical principles and techniques.
- Ability to prepare and present basic reports.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships.
- Ability to learn an agency's purpose, programs, and operations.
- Ability to collect, compile, code, edit, classify, and tabulate data.
- Ability to prepare and present ideas and information clearly yet concisely.
Additional Information
- Background Check: Required for eligible candidates.
- Probation: Mandatory six-month probation period.
