About the role
The position is responsible for providing academic advising services to students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group advisement sessions
- Develop and implement academic plans for students
- Provide guidance on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies
- Monitor student progress towards degree completion
- Collaborate with faculty and other university staff to support student success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in academic advising or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of academic policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with online learning platforms and databases
- Passion for student success and academic achievement
