OPC Specialist (Sales & Marketing Representative)

About the role

Westgate Resorts offers a competitive compensation package that includes a guaranteed hourly rate, uncapped commission opportunities, daily cash incentives, and weekly commission payouts. Successful team members often earn between $60,000 and $80,000+ annually, depending on performance and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests in a professional and friendly manner to promote Westgate Resorts and invite qualified individuals to attend a 90-minute resort preview presentation.
• Educate guests on available promotional offers and incentives, including attraction tickets, resort stays, and vacation packages.
• Qualify prospective guests according to company guidelines while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Accurately process point-of-sale transactions, including cash and credit card payments, while maintaining proper financial controls.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the Westgate brand with enthusiasm and integrity.
• Stay informed about current promotions, resort offerings, and attraction pricing to effectively communicate value to guests.
• Participate in off-site marketing events, conventions, and other high-traffic venues as business needs require.

Qualifications

• An energetic, confident personality with a passion for building relationships and creating positive guest experiences.
• Strong interest in sales, marketing, hospitality, and guest engagement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to confidently overcome objections and connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Previous OPC, hospitality, tourism, retail, customer service, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Comprehensive training is provided for motivated candidates.
