Onsite - Marketing Manager
This is a short-term contract role covering a leave of absence through the end of January. Candidates must be local to the Lisle area and able to work onsite Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
About the Role
The Work Truck Marketing Manager serves as the primary marketing partner to the business unit, responsible for developing and executing integrated B2B marketing strategies that drive demand, brand health, and revenue growth. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role connects business objectives to marketing outcomes, owning end-to-end marketing while navigating complex buying groups, longer sales cycles, and channel/dealer ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Act as the dedicated marketing lead and strategic advisor to business unit and sales leadership.
- Translate business objectives into brand-building and demand generation plans.
- Develop integrated marketing strategies aligned to target industries, segments, and buyer personas.
- Map marketing efforts to complex buying journeys involving multiple decision-makers.
- Identify whitespace opportunities within existing customer accounts and new markets.
- Plan and optimize B2B-focused media strategies across LinkedIn, trade publications, programmatic advertising, and search.
- Align channel mix to support various stages of the customer journey and sales funnel.
- Manage media budgets with a focus on performance, efficiency, and ROI.
- Define and track KPIs across marketing initiatives.
- Monitor full-funnel performance metrics.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Continuously test messaging, targeting, and creative assets.
- Partner with product and sales teams to align go-to-market strategies.
- Support product launches through integrated B2B marketing campaigns.
- Ensure product value propositions align with market and customer needs.
- Manage marketing budgets tied to business goals and ROI targets.
- Oversee agency partners and vendors supporting campaign execution.
- Optimize budget allocation based on performance and business priorities.
- Foster a test-and-learn culture focused on measurable outcomes.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving customer needs.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $82.00 - $92.00/hr.
Schedule
- Onsite Monday through Thursday in Lisle, IL.
- Remote work on Fridays.
