As an Assistant Property Manager (APM)/ Resident Manager (RM), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our properties run smoothly while delivering exceptional experiences to both residents and property owners.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to resource for residents—answer questions, address concerns, and help create a community they love to call home.
  • Keep things running smoothly—coordinate property maintenance, manage budgets and rent collections, and oversee resident files.
  • Drive leasing success—assist with property showings, move-in/move-out inspections, and applicant evaluations.
  • Identify value-add opportunities—help property owners maximize their investments.
  • Take ownership—work alongside the Property Manager and Regional Manager to improve operations and solve challenges.
  • Step up as a leader—handle after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis and support other administrative needs.

  • This dedicated onsite role will support a newly onboarded community and is ideal for someone with experience in larger multifamily properties, vendor management, and onsite operations.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in leasing vacant units, coordinating capital improvement projects, and helping stabilize the asset, with a clear path for growth into a Property Manager role.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of property management experience (preferred).
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
  • Vehicle and valid drivers license required.

  • Organizational skills—you keep everything running efficiently, from resident records to maintenance schedules.
  • Excellent communication—you can clearly and professionally interact with residents, owners, vendors, and teammates.
  • Tech-savviness—you’re comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google products, and ideally, AppFolio.

Benefits

  • Base salary: $70K-$80K
  • Annual performance-based bonus eligibility
  • Housing opportunity with partial rent coverage, factored into the overall compensation package and may impact base salary.
