Job Summary

Aids the department manager in achieving sales and operational goals for in-store online operations by accurately selecting, scanning, and staging online orders according to Amazon's standards.

Responsibilities

• % Of Time:
  • Service: Accurately selects, scans, and stages online orders using handheld devices, ensuring product quality, freshness, and order completeness.
  • Follows substitution guidelines and freshness standards to maintain a positive customer experience, resolving issues promptly.
  • Creates an environment that fosters customer satisfaction and ensures a quality shopping experience.
• Leadership: Promotes trust and respect among associates through collaboration, teamwork, and communication of company and departmental information.
• Financial: Supports performance standards by maintaining key operational metrics, including: INF Rate, Substitution Attempt Rate, Late Slam Rate, Confirmed vs Requested Rate, Available vs Confirmed Rate, Item Missing Rate, Item Quality Rate, Pickup Perfect Drop-off Rate.
• Compliance/Safety: Ensures adherence to company standards for safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity. Maintains regulatory compliance for food safety, USDA & COOL, and DOA. Executes product recalls and ensures safety programs are enforced.

Qualifications

• Required Education: GED/High School Diploma
• Preferred Education: College Degree in related field
• Language(s) Required: English
• Language(s) Preferred: English & Spanish
• Experience: 0-3 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Familiarity with grocery product categories, freshness standards, and store layout; strong attention to detail and order accuracy; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; prioritization and time management skills; clear and respectful communication; flexibility to adapt to changing order volume and customer needs; awareness of food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance standards.
