Job Summary

Aids the department manager in achieving sales and operational goals for in-store online operations by accurately selecting, scanning, and staging online orders according to Amazon's standards.

Responsibilities

• % Of Time:
  • Service: Accurately selects, scans, and stages online orders using handheld devices, ensuring product quality, freshness, and order completeness. Follows substitution guidelines and freshness standards to maintain a positive customer experience, resolving issues promptly.
  • Leadership: Promotes trust and respect among associates through collaboration, teamwork, and communication of company and job-specific information. Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
  • Financial: Supports performance standards by maintaining key operational metrics, including: INF Rate, Substitution Attempt Rate, Late Slam Rate, Confirmed vs Requested Rate, Available vs Confirmed Rate, Item Missing Rate, Item Quality Rate, Pickup Perfect Drop-off Rate.
  • Compliance/Safety: Ensures adherence to company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity. Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, executes product recalls, and ensures safety training and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Required Education: GED/High School Diploma
• Preferred Education: College Degree in related field
• Language(s) Required: English
• Language(s) Preferred: English & Spanish
• Experience: 0-3 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Familiarity with grocery product categories, freshness standards, and store layout; strong attention to detail and order accuracy; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; prioritization and time management skills; clear and respectful communication; flexibility to adapt to changing order volume and customer needs; awareness of food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance standards.

• Physical Demands: Regularly stands or walks on various types of flooring, utilizes manual dexterity, talks, sees, hears, smells, performs repetitive movements with both hands and/or both feet, reaches at waist level or overhead, carries, pushes, or lifts various loads up to the required weights listed, sits, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, climbs up to 30 ft.
• Working Conditions: Exposed to indoor, outdoor, cold, freezing, heated, and wet/humid working conditions, twisted back and/or neck, walked on a slippery or cluttered floor surface, worked with hazardous equipment, exposed to sharp objects, exposed to loud noise, skin irritants, nuisance dust, fumes and sprays, hazardous cleaning solutions and other toxins.
