Job Summary

Aids the department manager in achieving sales and operational goals for in-store online operations by accurately selecting, scanning, and staging online orders according to Amazon's standards. Ensures a seamless order selection and staging process, maintains inventory accuracy, and enhances customer satisfaction through quality, freshness, and service standards.

Responsibilities

• % Of Time:
  • Service: Accurately selects, scans, and stages online orders using handheld devices, ensuring product quality, freshness, and order completeness. Follows substitution guidelines and freshness standards to maintain a positive customer experience, addressing issues promptly.
  • Leadership: Promotes trust and respect among associates by collaborating, fostering teamwork, and disseminating company, department, and job-specific information. Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
  • Financial: Supports performance standards by maintaining key operational metrics, including: INF Rate, Substitution Attempt Rate, Late Slam Rate, Confirmed vs Requested Rate, Available vs Confirmed Rate, Item Missing Rate, Item Quality Rate, Pickup Perfect Drop-off Rate.
  • Compliance/Safety: Ensures adherence to company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity. Maintains regulatory compliance for food safety, USDA & COOL, and DOA. Executes product recalls and withdrawals, ensuring safety and security. Notifies management of accidents and reports safety risks and illegal activities.

Qualifications

• Required Education: GED/High School Diploma
• Preferred Education: College Degree in related field

• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Familiarity with grocery product categories, freshness standards, and store layout. Comfortable using handheld devices, mobile apps, and barcode scanners. Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy. Prioritization and time management skills. Clear and respectful communication. Flexibility to adapt to changing order volume and customer needs. Awareness of food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance standards.
