Responsibilities
- Accurately select and pick grocery items based on online orders
- Verify product quality and freshness, substituting items when necessary according to company guidelines
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during delivery or pickup
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the store while picking orders
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding order status and substitutions
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures
Requirements
- Previous retail or grocery shopping experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
